Larry is a solutions-oriented leader with more than 25 years of experience in data, analytics and AI strategies, architectures, and solutions across a variety of industries. As the Chief Executive Officer of Datatelligent, Larry helps customers maximize their data assets and operational results by implementing data-driven strategies.
Prior to Datatelligent, Larry specialized in account systems, SQL (Structured Query Language), and various industries, including hospitality, insurance, banking, and gaming. The drive to establish Datatelligent came from a desire and a passion for understanding the intricate relationship between data and organizational success.
Larry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting from Texas Christian University and a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Both business and technology domains allow him to offer a unique blend of strategic insight and technical proficiency to customers and projects.
He resides in Chicago’s western suburbs with his wife and son.
Steven is an innovative executive with 20+ years of diverse experience spanning higher education and healthcare. As the Chief Customer Officer of Datatelligent, Steven brings extensive knowledge of IT operations including budgeting, contracting, infrastructure maintenance and customer support. His expertise supports several enterprise-wide applications with a known reputation as a trusted partner able to work collaboratively to drive results.
Steven is a seasoned manager with strong interpersonal skills used to lead teams and work effectively across multiple areas to deliver value for the institution. Demonstrated strengths in customer service, program management, strategic planning, and system implementations. Steven is a Rush University faculty member with 10+ years of experience teaching graduate level courses and mentoring students.
Steven holds several degrees including a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology and a Master of Science, Counseling Psychology, both from the University of Notre Dame; and a Master of Science, Health Systems Management, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, from Rush University.
An avid golfer, Steven resides in Chicago’s western suburbs with his wife, with whom he shares two grown sons.
Meet Karl Oder, our Director of Data & Operations at Datatelligent. With over 20 years of experience in information technology, Karl is a seasoned professional in cloud-based systems, data pipelines, databases, system administration, network administration, and information security.
Before joining Datatelligent, Karl successfully managed large teams of IT engineers and analysts at a prominent academic medical center. His educational background includes a Master of Science in Research Administration from Rush University, a Master of Science in Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in photography from Columbia College Chicago.
In his spare time, Karl indulges in lens-based fine art and enjoys the serene surroundings of the far north suburbs of Chicago with his wife.
Karl’s wealth of expertise, leadership skills, and creative talents make him an invaluable asset to the Datatelligent team, driving excellence in data management and operations.
As Datatelligents Solutions Architect, Jeremy is an executive leader with a proclivity for accelerating business growth. He is an accomplished Sales & Business Development professional focused on improving processes, optimizing revenue streams, and achieving goals.
With experiences as a National Accounts Manager and Account Executive, Jeremy excels in logistics, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships. Now, he brings talent to our data analytics family, ready to optimize data-driven insights.
Robert Miller currently leads product strategy and development at Datatelligent, with a specific focus on creating Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions for the higher education sector. He is actively involved in implementing responsible AI, including generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning, and agentic AI, to drive innovation.
Robert’s background combines deep technical expertise with strategic product management, making him well-suited for leading complex development initiatives. His past experience includes:
Product Lifecycle Management: As a former Global Product Manager for GE Capital, Robert has honed the ability to oversee products from conception to launch, ensuring they meet market needs and business goals.
Technical Leadership & IT Strategy: His tenure as Director of Information Technology at Marmon Holdings provides him with a strong foundation in enterprise technology infrastructure, essential for building scalable and secure AI products.
Agile & Lean Methodologies: Robert has extensive experience with Agile and Lean implementation, skills that are critical for managing fast-paced software development cycles and ensuring efficient, iterative product delivery.
AI & Emerging Tech: He is a recognized subject matter expert in the application of AI, frequently discussing advanced topics like agentic AI and machine learning in industry forums, such as the Datatelligent podcast.
Lucinda Nord is a servant leader with 30 years’ experience advancing programs and policies in the nonprofit sector. She has held various roles including executive, senior staff member, board member, lobbyist, and consultant. Her background provides for a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the nonprofit landscape.
With a passion for helping organizations create a positive impact within their communities and a focus on data-driven approaches, she excels in collaborating with organizations to help them achieve their mission-related objectives through data analytics.
Lucinda holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential, is an active volunteer, and teaches nonprofit management at the Indiana University O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
Lucinda actively volunteers in Indiana’s community, connecting individuals with aligned organizations. She values quality time with her adult sons and cherishes her family. With a passion for community engagement and a commitment to data-driven decision-making, Lucinda drives positive change and supports organizational success.
Steve is the Director of Sales at Datatelligent with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations drive better insights and outcomes with data. From his early days in sales, Steve has always found inspiration by focusing on customer needs and accessing how data can transform an organization’s overall strategy.
Prior to Datatelligent, Steve held numerous sales, sales management, and account director positions at Teradata, Celonis, Accruent, and Fidelity Information Services. His expertise spans nearly every market, including data, banking, insurance, real estate, retail, and manufacturing.
More recently, at Datatelligent, Steve specializes in helping higher education, nonprofits, human services, and faith-based organizations remove barriers in order to make data-driven decisions.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from Albion College. He lives in Michigan with his wife, where they enjoy traveling to visit their two young adult daughters and college-aged son.
Chris Atteberry is the Senior Director of Marketing at Datatelligent, where he plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between demand generation, brand engagement, event promotion, and sales and delivery. His primary focus is on driving pipeline growth and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Chris brings a wealth of marketing, print and media experience to Datatelligent. Before joining Datatelligent, he held the position of Group Account Director at Novus Media where he led a dedicated team responsible for the strategic development and tactical execution of advertising campaigns at the national, regional, and local levels for a diverse portfolio of more than 30 clients. As the Manager of Print Media and Marketing at Sears Corporation, he worked to enhance the brand’s online presence and digital marketing strategies, and as a Senior Account Executive at NSA Media, he focused on brand strategy, analytics, media planning, and media investments.
Chris lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with his wife, Candi, and son, Logan.
Debbie Phelps brings over 15 years of leadership in institutional effectiveness to Datatelligent, where she specializes in helping colleges and universities transform complex data into actionable strategies. With recognized experience in accreditation and strategic planning, she previously served as the Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness at Cowley College. There, she acted as the Accreditation Liaison Officer and led data governance initiatives that led the College to receive the prestigious Kansas Board of Regents Data Quality Award.
Beyond her technical work, Debbie is a dedicated leader in the national data community, currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Association for Institutional Research (AIR). She holds a Master of Professional Studies in Organizational Leadership from Fort Hays State University and is a celebrated “Phi Mu History Maker.” At Datatelligent, Debbie continues her mission to empower educational leaders with the clarity and confidence to drive student success.
